Arches National Park is located in Utah. From I-70 it's a short drive south on Highway 191. There will be signs to lead you to entrance on the left if driving from I-70. Green River, Utah, is a good-sized town for overnight off of I-70, but if you want to stay more than one day, the town of Moab is closer and is south of the Park.
The Visitor's Center opens during vacation months at 7:30 and during school-year months at 8:00 and closes at 6:00 P.M. Buy your gifts, stock up on water, etc. before driving into the park because once you've driven into the park, the scenery will amaze and will tend to make you forget about everything else.
