When the Internet was young, internet search engines focused on helping us find what we were searching for. As the Internet continues to expand, the search engines are providing other services such as travel, entertainment, shopping, advertising and many others. There have also been many changes. Remember "Go to?" That was bought by Yahoo and got renamed to "Overture." So don't be surprised if names change and every service created under the sun becomes part of the search engines, possibly the future "mega channels" of the Internet.
