 Autobiography
for oprah winfrey is not available as of April 2008.
One reason may be that Oprah is simply living right now in the
present moment and the time to write an autobiography, if any, is next to
impossible, unless a ghost writer is used, but that would be “un-oprah-like.”
During her webcast that
featured Eckhart Tolle’s book, A New Earth, on Monday, April 7, 2008,
she shared how in her career many years ago she was asked why she wasn’t
paying more attention to her competitors, and she used the example of how
in track, if you take time to be looking back at the competition, you lose
energy while you are running. It’s best to be yourself and run forward.
How does this apply to writing her own autobiography?
Another way of putting it would be that she’s "running track"
looking forward and not back right now.
So there is no
autobiography for oprah winfrey as of now.
