 Anyone
who reaches the level of success that oprah winfrey has achieved happens
from action, i.e., "rolling up the sleeves" and "clipping
up the hair" and doing the work.
All who work to keep oprah,
herself, going to work in front of the cameras daily, as well as all that
is related to her, is a monumental task. This is why on the show
where Harpo Studios opened their doors to show audiences where oprah gets
her make-up done, where employees work, the control room, the massage
therapy and manicures as well as the Hawaiian vacations show how "the
boss" is trying to keep the employees happy because understandably,
keeping "oprah" going is no small feat.
It's in the same spirit
as when David Letterman and Conan O'Brien announced that they would pay
their staff from their own pockets till the end of the year while the Writer's Strike lasts.
This is one way Oprah
continues to show through "action" how to weather the people
that have come attacking at her success.
While her show may be
called a "talk show," her words supported by her actions have
spoken much louder.
