Where is the Tallgrass Prairie Located? There are more than one, but the biggest preserve is near Emporia, Kansas. If you are enroute on I-35, or are stopping near Emporia, you can take an afternoon side trip to this preserve. Exit on 127 from I-35 and go west on Highway 50 and follow the signs.
