In what city would we find the gateway arch? St. Louis, Missouri, USA, along the Mississippi River, off of Interstate 70 (I-70) and while driving on this highway and crossing the river, you will see the arch on the north side of the bridge.

Picture below is the view from the top of the arch overlooking St. Louis, Missouri. There is a fee to ride the tram to the top and you can enjoy the museum about the Lewis and Clark expedition and westward expansion at the base of the Arch.
